I taught with Peggy for many years. We all loved her and enjoyed her quick wit and great stories, many of which centered around family experiences. One great story was about a 5 year old deaf child they sponsored one summer as a "Sunshine Child." They tried to communicate with her through signing but no one could figure out what the child was trying to say. Finally, they realized she was just mimicking them and was too young to know how to spell or sign. Peggy was a wonderful person and will be missed.

I am so sorry that I will miss the Celebration of Life of Peggy along with the rest of my Senior Retirees Lunch Mates from Spencerport CS. Unfortunately I will be on a planned trip. However, it has been a joy to share lunch and stories of her family and reminisces of working together for so many years. She has been an inspiration of faith, family, and friends. Her family should be happy knowing how much she loves them and thankful for the care they gave her.
