I worked with this special man for over twenty years as his secretary. There couldn't be a sweeter guy who always had a smile on his face especially when sharing stories about family. We all were blessed to have him in our lives. My sincerest condolences.

GORDY ,I CALLED HIM FLASH AND WE HAVE BEEN FRIENDS FOR OVER 50 YEARS . WE MET WHEN WE WERE 13,AND WE DID EVERYTHING TOGETHER,WHERE YOU WOULD SEE ONE OF US YOU WOULD SEE OTHER. AS TIME WENT ON WE WENT ON OUR DIFFERENT WAYS.WE RECONNECTED A FEW YEARS AGO,AND IT WAS JUST LIKE WE HAD SEEN EACH OTHER YESTERDAY.HE WAS MY FIRST LOVE AND ONE OF THE SWEETEST MEN I KNOW . HE WILL ALWAYS BE HEART AND MEMORIES
He called himself family to us and we loved him as such. Always a smile and a joke to tell. He made the world brighter and we will always remember him this way.

Uncle Gordy; there isn't a time that I can remember you calling me by my real name. I will miss you calling me Whitney with an "S", Never a dull moment with you.
